GENERAL MANAGER
Sky Zone Brea | Brea, California | Full-Time, Onsite
Lead the park. Build the team. Drive the business. Deliver AWESOME.

Who We Are
Sky Zone is built around active entertainment, memorable guest experiences, and a culture that moves beyond the ordinary. Our parks bring children, teens, families, and communities together to play, celebrate, and connect. We're the people who like to exercise but LOVE to have fun. We're ambitious, fearless, and refuse to be confined — we don't just think outside the box, we MOVE outside the box. With well-known brands like Sky Zone, DEFY, and Rockin' Jump spanning the globe, we're the largest active entertainment park operation in the world, and a place where kids, teens, and parents alike can shake up the norm and play.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Sky Zone Brea is an independently owned and operated Sky Zone franchise location opening in Brea, CA, and we're building our founding leadership team. Sky Zone Brea is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead all aspects of park performance. As General Manager, you will work under the guidance of ownership and leadership to oversee all park operations. The GM is the senior onsite leader responsible for people, delivering an exceptional guest experience, whether guests are jumping, celebrating a birthday party, or grabbing a bite at the café; sales and revenue, expense management, safety, compliance, staffing, and day-to-day execution. This role leads by example, sets clear expectations, develops leaders, and creates a positive, accountable park culture while upholding Sky Zone standards.

Who We're Looking For
Purveyors of AWESOME wanted — someone ready to take on the challenge! Our General Managers are savvy people, business, and operations leaders. They understand that the success of a park rests on their shoulders, through the culture they cultivate and the results they drive. You lead by example and lead through your team, fostering a positive work environment, communicating clear expectations, and upholding the highest Sky Zone standards.
Qualifications
•     21 years of age or older.
•     Completed high school diploma or equivalent education; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
•     Minimum of 3 years of overall management experience in a high customer volume industry (entertainment, fitness, retail, restaurant, etc.).
•     At least 2 years of sales experience; membership sales experience preferred.
•     Understands how to leverage P&L reports to set and manage business revenue goals.
•     Demonstrated experience hitting or exceeding company KPI's.
•     Basic proficiency in technology such as MS Office Suite, Teams, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
•     Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
•     Results-driven, reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
Physical Requirements
•     Ability to remain stationary and move around the park for long periods of time to accommodate guest, park, and safety needs.
•     Ability to lift and/or move a minimum of 20 pounds.
•     Ability to frequently communicate and interact with employees and guests in a busy and often loud indoor environment.
What You’ll Do
Under the direction of ownership/leadership, the General Manager owns daily park operations across three key areas that make our parks stand out:

Awesome People — Team Members & Customer Service
•     Be a hands-on leader and role model, able to support the team by executing any park position as needed.
•     Develop Assistant General Managers and Team Leads into excellent people leaders, operations experts, and business-savvy managers; oversee the training they provide to all park team members.
•     Create a positive park culture by recognizing accomplishments and learning what motivates team members so the whole team succeeds together.
•     Own and oversee all phases of employment — hiring, training, monitoring growth and progress — and be responsible for any discipline or termination of team members as necessary.
•     Be an effective liaison for the park through consistent communication across all departments and ownership.
•     Provide memorable moments for guests by being proactive, responsive, and engaged in their experience while at the park.
•     Own resolution of customer service issues through listening, discussion, and follow-up, completing all necessary documentation.

Awesome Business — Revenue & Expense Management
•     Be a strategic leader, managing park operations and expenses according to Profit & Loss (P&L) statements; oversee purchases, inventory, and additional park costs, and renegotiate vendor terms when needed.
•     Drive achievement of park revenue goals across membership sales, birthday parties, and special events.
•     Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and/or coordinate park promotions and marketing strategies.
•     Train employees in every department on how they contribute to park revenue goals.
•     Develop Front Desk Agents to execute a successful sales process and effective sales strategies.
•     Ensure Front Desk, Party Hosts, and managers understand their key performance metrics (KPIs).
•     Cultivate positive relationships within the local Brea community — we strive to be a positive community staple.
•     Get creative! We love supporting managers who think outside the box and enjoy executing new ideas.

Awesome Operations — Facility Compliance & Safety
•     Oversee and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of each department, implementing processes accordingly.
•     Ensure all team members are properly trained on safety precautions, responses, and reporting, and remain compliant with all company and OSHA safety requirements.
•     Check and monitor park attractions and equipment daily to ensure everything is safe and fully operational; complete work orders, maintenance reports, and required documentation, and close attractions if necessary.
•     Adjust staffing levels to meet safety demands.
•     Complete inventory reports for facilities, parties, food & beverage, and vending.
Key Performance Metrics
The General Manager drives the success of overall park business goals, including but not limited to: membership sales and retention, birthday parties & events, labor/payroll management, Revenue and expense performance, Guest Satisfaction / Net Promoter Score (NPS), safety, compliance, staffing, training, and leadership development.
Compensation & Benefits
•     Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus opportunity. Total compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, and performance. Benefit offerings and eligibility will be communicated during the hiring process.
•     401(k) eligibility based on age and tenure requirements.
•     Reports to ownership/leadership team; up to 20% travel based on development opportunities.
