JOB OVERVIEWThe Customer Service Associate (Driver) is responsible for catering aircraft and transporting meals/beverage/equipment to assign flights. RESPONSIBILITIES• Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flights.• Verify flights documentation to ensure correct items are loaded before heading to ramp.• Interact with other Customer Service team members to identify and resolve problems.• Interface with flight attendants and provide excellent customer service.• Comply with all operating and safety procedures regarding driving, positioning the unit at the planes, securing the work platform, loading and unloading carts on and off the planes.• Dispose of domestic and international trash based on CBP regulated guidelines.• Must have the ability to follow direction, meet tight deadlines, and interact/communicate with vendor airline crew as necessary.REQUIREMENTS• Must have a Commercial Drivers License (Class A or B)• Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays.• Work overtime when required.• Ability to speak, read and understand English.• Comply with all work rules and regulations.• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.• Able to pass a basic written test.• Ability to handle dry ice• Pass a DOT Pre-Employment Physical test.• Pass a criminal background and an airport /TSA background check.• Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required. ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours.• Must be able to lift and push up to 50+ lbs• Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment• Will be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise.• This position requires to be active, walking, and intense physical activity.• Will be exposed to various weather condition and heights.
