What does a skin scientist do?

A Skin Scientist studies the biology, chemistry, and physiology of human skin to develop skincare products, treatments, and innovations. They research skin conditions, test formulations, and analyze how ingredients interact with the skin. Skin Scientists work in industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and dermatology to improve skin health and product effectiveness. Their role often involves laboratory experiments, clinical trials, and collaboration with dermatologists and researchers.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a skin scientist?

To thrive as a Skin Scientist, you need a robust background in biology, chemistry, or dermatology, typically supported by an advanced degree in a relevant scientific field.
