What does a skin care model do?

A typical day for a Skin Care Model often involves attending photo shoots or video sessions where you demonstrate the application and effects of skincare products under the guidance of photographers and brand representatives. You may be expected to prepare your skin beforehand, take direction for various poses or expressions, and participate in product demonstrations or tutorials. Collaboration with a creative team—including makeup artists, stylists, and marketing professionals—is common. The work environment can range from professional studios to on-location shoots, and schedules may fluctuate depending on campaign requirements and brand launches. Flexibility and punctuality are important, as shoots can be time-sensitive and require a quick turnaround.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a skin care model?
