Skin Care Model information

What is a skin care model?

A Skin Care Model is a person who tests and showcases skincare products for brands, dermatologists, or researchers. This role may involve product demonstrations, before-and-after photos, or participation in clinical trials. Models are typically chosen based on specific skin types or concerns to highlight product effectiveness. It can be for advertisements, social media campaigns, or scientific studies. Compensation varies based on the project and company.

What does a skin care model do?

A typical day for a Skin Care Model often involves attending photo shoots or video sessions where you demonstrate the application and effects of skincare products under the guidance of photographers and brand representatives. You may be expected to prepare your skin beforehand, take direction for various poses or expressions, and participate in product demonstrations or tutorials. Collaboration with a creative team—including makeup artists, stylists, and marketing professionals—is common. The work environment can range from professional studios to on-location shoots, and schedules may fluctuate depending on campaign requirements and brand launches. Flexibility and punctuality are important, as shoots can be time-sensitive and require a quick turnaround.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a skin care model?

To thrive as a Skin Care Model, you need clear, well-maintained skin, a photogenic appearance, and the ability to effectively pose and showcase skincare products, with some roles preferring prior modeling experience. Familiarity with photography, lighting setups, and sometimes basic makeup techniques can be valuable, while certifications are less commonly required except for specialized campaigns. Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and professionalism help models stand out when collaborating with photographers, stylists, and beauty brands. These competencies are essential to represent products authentically, foster positive relationships, and succeed in a competitive industry.

Job description

Skin Clique is a medically founded, nationwide aesthetics practice redefining how skin health is delivered. Rooted in science and evidence-based care, Skin Clique integrates skin health into the broader health conversation through personalized treatment plans and flexible care models. With a national footprint and a commitment to clinical excellence, Skin Clique is advancing skin health as an essential part of overall wellness.

Aesthetic NP/PA - Practice Partnership
United States

Keep Your Practice. Lose the Overhead

You built your practice from the ground up. The patient relationships, the reputation, the space - that's yours. But somewhere along the way, the business of running a practice started competing with the reason you started it.

Skin Clique partners with established NP and PA injectors who have a physical location and an active patient panel. We take on the operations (EMR, compliance, inventory, ordering, administrative support) so you can put your energy back where it belongs: patient care and practice growth. This is a partnership model built specifically for practice owners who are ready to scale without adding more weight to carry.

Why Join Skin Clique

  • We Handle Operations - You Focus on Patients

From EMR and compliance to inventory, insurance, and administrative support, we manage logistics so you can focus fully on patient care and growth.

  • High Compensation + First-Year Bonus Opportunity

Earn competitive pay with transparent, goal-based incentives. Providers meeting performance milestones can qualify for up to $25,000 in first-year bonuses, plus 1– 2% annual growth incentives.

  • Clinical Skincare Partnerships

Access leading skincare brands and our proprietary product line to enhance patient outcomes, with no buy-in or upfront costs required.

  • Complimentary Training & Ongoing Support

Your skills will be assessed for competency, and you'll receive complimentary Skin Clique training - either onsite or at one of our national sessions. After onboarding, you'll continue to receive concierge-style operational and clinical support to help your practice thrive.

  • A Trusted National Brand

Join a physician-founded network of 800+ board-certified providers with a shared mission to elevate the standard of care in aesthetics.

What You'll Do

As an Aesthetic Practice Partner, you continue practicing autonomously within your existing space while integrating with Skin Clique's operations, EMR, and business model. You maintain full ownership of your practice and patient relationships — we provide the infrastructure, support, and brand recognition to help you grow.

  • Conduct aesthetic consultations and administer neurotoxins, fillers, biostimulators, and approved Skin Clique treatments
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Skin Clique's EMR
  • Manage your patient panel and ensure consistent satisfaction and follow-up
  • Collaborate with Skin Clique teams to optimize scheduling and compliance
  • Participate in ongoing education and provider meetings
  • Promote Skin Clique skincare products and memberships to enhance patient outcomes

Who This Is For

This opportunity is specifically designed for providers who:

  • Hold an active NP or PA license with prescriptive authority
  • Have an established physical location dedicated to aesthetic treatments
  • Maintain an active patient panel (approx. 160 patients / 350+ annual visits)
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of injecting experience (neurotoxin and/or filler; filler training available)
  • Carry current malpractice coverage and BLS or ACLS certification

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Skin Clique does not provide employer-paid healthcare benefits; providers have the option to enroll in self-paid coverage at their discretion.

Partnership Benefits Include:

  • Bonus potential up to $25,000 in year one
  • 1–2% annual growth incentives
  • Complimentary training and access to ongoing advanced education
  • Mentorship from industry experts
  • Personal discounts on skincare and Skin Clique services
  • Access to Skin Clique tools and resources that reinvest in your practice growth
