DarkStar Intelligence is proud to sponsor a Department of Defense SkillBridge internship supporting mission operations under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) National Operations Center (NOC). This internship provides transitioning Service Members the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting 24/7 homeland security operations, situational awareness, and executive-level reporting in a fast-paced interagency environment.


Interns will work alongside cleared analysts and mission support personnel to support real-world homeland security operations and national-level coordination efforts.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and synthesizing open-source and government information to support situational awareness and operational reporting
  • Support development of written intelligence summaries, operational updates, and executive-level briefings
  • Contribute to mission tracking, incident reporting, and data management processes
  • Coordinate with interagency partners and internal stakeholders to ensure timely information flow
  • Support maintenance of operational dashboards, knowledge management tools, and reporting systems
  • Participate in exercises, drills, and operational planning activities
  • Apply military operational experience to support homeland security mission priorities
