Company Description Seattle Ski Performance specializes in pedorthic ski boot fitting combined with a SkyTech ski simulator to deliver high-quality indoor ski training, skill improvement, and racer development. The company focuses on helping skiers and snowboarders get fit and refine their technique in the city before heading to the mountains. Guests receive individualized coaching and equipment support to maximize comfort, safety, and performance on snow. Seattle Ski Performance is committed to making winter vacations more enjoyable by optimizing on-slope experiences through effective preparation. The environment emphasizes fun, learning, and measurable progress for athletes of all levels.

Role Description The Snowsports Instructor role is a part-time, on-site position based in Bellevue, WA. The instructor will provide ski and snowboard coaching on an indoor simulator, guiding guests through lessons focused on technique, performance, and safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing skill levels, planning and delivering tailored training sessions, and giving clear, constructive feedback to help participants improve. The instructor will help clients understand equipment use, support proper boot fit considerations, and assist with basic setup for the simulator. Additional duties may include maintaining a safe and welcoming training environment, collaborating with team members on program development, and occasionally supporting customer service and scheduling activities.

Qualifications

  • Snowsports technique and coaching skills, including Ski Instruction, Skiing, and Snowboarding.

  • Experience in Training, lesson planning, or sports coaching in an instructional setting.
