Job description

Are you detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment? Our Distribution Center is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Rental Ski Fleet Technician. This role is responsible for the maintenance, organization, and overall readiness of the company's entire rental ski fleet, while also supporting general warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate is reliable, hands-on, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on efficiency, organization, and equipment care.
In this role, you will take ownership of the company's rental ski fleet, including tuning, waxing, and repairing skis and boots. You will operate a variety of specialized equipment and machinery, including tuning machines and wax systems, to ensure all rental equipment is consistently maintained and meets company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Required
  • Tune and maintain rental skis using Wintersteiger Jupiter and other tuning machines.
  • Perform waxing, edge work, and base repairs (PTex, belt sanding, and finishing).
  • Operate automated and manual wax machines.
  • Inspect and maintain ski boots and related rental equipment.
  • Pick, locate, and organize rental inventory within the warehouse system.
  • Operate forklifts, including order picker and reach lift, to move product and equipment.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including product movement, bin organization, and inventory control during down time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation.
  • Experience with ski tuning equipment or similar machinery preferred (training provided).
  • Forklift experience (order picker and reach lift) preferred or willingness to become certified.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse/distribution setting.

  • Certifications (equipment and/or forklift) will qualify for wage increases.
  • Limited binding work required.
