Ski's Truck & RV Sales is looking for a motivated Office Assistant to assist customers and manage purchase transactions in our RV Parts and Accessories Store and assist with general office duties.ย 
To be successful in this role, you should have general knowledge of how cash registers operate and experience answering phones/directing phone calls at a busy workplace. You should also be available to work two Saturdays a month. Ultimately, youโ€™ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers upon entering/leaving the store.ย 
  • Provide product knowledge and assist customers in making informed decisions about the RV parts and accessories they may require for their new or existing camper.ย 
  • Manage customer sales transactions and collect payments using a cash register and credit card machine. Issue receipts, exchanges, and/or returns.ย 
  • Track transactions and accurately balance the drawer on a daily basis.ย 
  • Scan products to ensure correct pricing.ย 
  • Unpack and process new inventory, stock shelves and assist sales team with merchandise and displays in the store.
  • Maintain a clean checkout area and assist with cleaning the store and customer restroom as needed.ย 
  • Answer the dealership phone and direct calls to the appropriate department: Sales, Service/Warranty, Scheduling, Operations, or Marketing.
  • Transition customers from the sales team to the completion of financing applications and purchase agreements with those members of the team.
Essential Job Skills:ย 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills.ย 
  • Great business phone etiquette and knowledge of how to use a multi-line phone system.ย 
  • Knowledge of a cash register, credit card machine, and POS.ย 
  • Good math skills.
  • General camper/RV knowledge preferred (or willing to learn).
  • Superior organization and communication skills.ย 
  • Be willing to learn and work effectively with other members of the team.ย 
  • Must have weekend availability: Able to work at least two Saturdays per month (8 am to 1 pm).
  • Able to stand/walk for long periods of time. This is NOT a desk job.ย 
  • Able to lift 30 lbs. or more to move inventory in the store.
  • A valid driver's license and good work/attendance record required.
