Job Description

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards. and dietary requirements.

Assist in food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, and cooking ingredients.

Set up and restock serving stations and counters.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment at the end of each shift

Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper food storage and temperature control.

Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers and cash registers safely.

Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies.

Dispose of waste properly as required.

Process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system

Handle electronic transactions accurately.

Provide courteous and efficient customer service to guests.

Assist with inventory management and alert the manager of low-stock or supply needs.

Comply with local health codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

Support team members and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Skills & Qualifications

1+ year of kitchen/line cook experience preferred.

Experience with POS systems

Previous food service or food truck experience is a plus, but not required.

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety procedures.

Ability to work in small, fast-paced environments with limited space.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Serve Safe certification (or ability to obtain)
