Forest Lake Area School District is currently seeking applicants for the position of an Assistant Skating Coach to start ASAP.

POSITION: Assistant Skating Coach LOCATION: Forest Lake Sports Center POSITION INFORMATION: 3 to 4 Hours per day, 1 days per week  (Typical shifts are 8:00am - 10:45am on Saturdays) FULL TIME HEAD COACH PAY: $20 -30.50/Hr. Job Description:

Assistant Skating Coach

The Assistant Skating Coach provides quality skating instruction in a safe, positive, and supportive environment. Working alongside the ISI Skating Supervisor, this position helps teach skating skills, encourages participant development, and creates an enjoyable experience for skaters of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with teaching skating lessons and skill development.
  • Demonstrate proper skating techniques and safety practices.
  • Support class setup, ISI testing, special events, and the annual skating show.
  • Encourage participants while providing a fun and welcoming learning environment.
  • Communicate professionally with participants, families, and staff.

Qualifications

  • Skating and/or coaching experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, positive, and enthusiastic working with skaters of all ages.
