What is Sitecore development?

Sitecore development involves building, customizing, and maintaining websites and digital experiences using the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP), a powerful content management system (CMS) and digital experience platform. Sitecore developers use languages like C# and frameworks such as ASP.NET to create tailored solutions for businesses, including website features, integrations, and personalized content delivery. Their work often includes implementing Sitecore’s analytics, marketing automation, and personalization capabilities to enhance customer engagement and drive business goals.

What are common challenges faced by Sitecore Developers when working on large-scale implementations?

Sitecore Developers working on large-scale projects often encounter challenges such as complex content structures, integration with legacy systems, and performance optimization. Navigating Sitecore's customizable architecture requires a deep understanding of both the platform and the client's business needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including UX designers, marketers, and backend engineers—is crucial to ensure seamless delivery and maintain scalability. Staying up to date with Sitecore updates and best practices helps address these challenges effectively.
