Job description

Description
J. Blanton Plumbing is seeking experienced Excavation Installers to join our growing Sewer & Drain Division. We are looking for hardworking individuals with experience in underground sewer work, excavation, and operating heavy equipment.
This position is ideal for candidates who are safety-focused, dependable, and experienced working on residential and commercial sewer excavation projects.
Responsibilities
  • Perform underground sewer installation and repair work
  • Operate mini excavators and other excavation equipment
  • Assist with digging, trenching, pipe installation, and site preparation
  • Follow all safety procedures and jobsite regulations
  • Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently
  • Maintain clean and organized jobsites

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in underground sewer or excavation work
  • Experience operating mini excavators
  • Strong understanding of excavation safety practices
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license required
  • CDL is a plus but not required
Preferred Certifications
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 20, or OSHA 30
  • Competent Person Certification
