Job description


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Field Engineer will be responsible for field verifying units, ensuring all casework and millwork are built correctly and fit perfectly according to the contract specifications. This role requires an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage data and documentation.
Responsibilities:
  • Conductsite visits to verify that units are built per contract specifications.
  • Assessthe current condition of job sites and ensure readiness for verification.
  • Takeaccurate field measurements and document them appropriately.
  • Coordinatewith General Contractorsto schedule site visits and gather site-specific details.
  • Buildpositive relationships to facilitate smooth information exchange andcollaboration.
  • Documentationof each unit, noting dimensions on drawings or directly on photos.
  • Ensureaccurate and timely data management to support the next phase of projectupdates.
  • Utilizeeffective communication skills to gather and share necessary informationfor project success.

Requirements
  • 1+years of construction experience required.
  • Beginnerknowledge of construction equipment & techniques, drawing &specifications, building materials and required standards applicable tothe project.
  • Proficiencyin using tools such as tape measures, handheld lasers, iPads/Surfaces, and3D lasers.
