We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in system-level design and testing, encompassing both analog and digital circuitry. This role involves full lifecycle design responsibilitiesfrom defining functional requirements to supporting productionwhile working closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and firmware engineers.

The primary focus is on airborne communication and processing systems, which may include power management, digital communications, display control, analog signal processing, and application-specific control electronics. Success in this role requires proficiency in conducting design reviews, following established design processes, and thoroughly documenting engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical system design efforts for new and existing products to meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards.
  • Support full product development lifecycle: requirement definition, design, test, integration, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and system-level issues efficiently to ensure product reliability.
  • Develop engineering and production-level test procedures and custom test fixtures.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues and maintain manufacturing continuity.
  • Utilize computer-aided engineering and design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, etc.) for circuit design and layout.
  • Create and maintain design documentation, drawings, and engineering change orders.
  • Work with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to support engineering projects and product development.
  • Research, design, and test electrical components and systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver designs that meet cost, performance, and manufacturability targets.
