As an Assistant Site Manager, your primary mission is to drive membership sales while ensuring smooth operations. You’ll be a hands-on leader—closing sales at the pay station, coaching your team to upsell, and optimizing labor efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Membership Growth (Top Priority!)
    • Proactively promote and sell car wash memberships—you’ll be the face of our sales efforts at the pay station.
    • Train and empower your team to upsell memberships and services (commissions rewarded!).
    • Monitor sales metrics, identify opportunities, and bring ideas to your manager to boost conversion rates.
    • Lead by example: Your ability to sell directly impacts your bonuses and team success.
  2. Operations & Team Management
    • Step into any role (pay station, tunnel, etc.) to support your team and model sales best practices.
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring labor efficiency and workflow smoothness.
    • Resolve customer issues promptly—turning complaints into sales opportunities.
    • Provide feedback to team members and assist with performance reviews with a focus on sales targets and customer engagement.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
    • Manage inventory, equipment repairs, and maintenance to optimize operational efficiency

Daily Routine:

  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Monitor and manage the car wash queue to optimize customer flow, sell memberships, and keep labor in check
  • Uphold company policies and processes
  • You’re the manager on site whenever the manager is not there

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in customer service with sales/upselling experience (required).
  • 1+ year in leadership (preferred).
  • Must be 18+ and pass a background check.

Positions Available: Full-time (35 – 40 hours per week)

Working Days: Monday – Sunday (a typical schedule will include Sunday and Monday as a requirement).

Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM (shifts vary); ASMs work an average of 35 – 40 hours per week.

Physical Demands:

  • Working outdoors, including the summer heat and the winter cold.
  • Standing for long periods at one time. There's no chairs on the lot!
  • Quickly assisting customers.
  • Lifting, pushing or pulling 40lbs or more.

ASM Pay Bands:

  • $17.50–$19.00/hr
  • Criteria: Internal promotions are always preferred!
    • Manages teams of 8+;
    • Can work all positions; can assist in managing with little to no instruction.
    • Focus is still on SALES but assists in leading the team
    • Can manage on their own for short periods of time (1 – 2 weeks).
  • $19.00–$23.00/hr
  • Criteria: 2+ years commission sales + leads teams of 10+.
    • Can handle both being in the EDGE-ucator role and managing labor and the site when in charge of the shift.
    • Can work well with programs such as reporting and payroll systems and is ready to start learning the admin work behind being a site manager.
    • Can manage the location as interim-SM when needed.
  • $23.00+/hr
  • Criteria: SM-ready—exceeds in sales, labor, and ops.

Must be willing to complete our EDGE-ucator sales training within 60 days of hire.
