Job description

We are looking for a Asphalt Plant Manager to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. As a Asphalt Plant Manager with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for all site activities, including but not limited to coordinating with Area Managers to ensure the Production Plan and Maintenance Plan are being executed correctly.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Health and Welfare of the crew and ensuring the site meets or exceeds OSHA Standards
Responsible for the administration of the Quikrete Safety Principles
Responsible for obtaining the maximum production at the plant
Ensures that quality Site Manager is responsible for ALL site activities.
Products are being produced within internal and external specifications
Approves timecards
Enters maintenance logs, production logs, etc., into the computer system
Makes a Plant Maintenance and Production Program
Makes the Daily Production and Maintenance Schedule (including but not limited to daily maintenance projects and mix production as needed based on sales)
Parts requisitions
Coordinates with Outside Contractors on Equipment Repairs as needed
Coordinates with the Shop on Mobile Equipment Repairs
Responsible for Knowing the Site Financials and Achieving Budget Goals
Coordinates with Paving Foreman and QC to provide correct quantities and quality of HMA
Scheduling of Crew based on Production and Maintenance needs within Available Operating Hours

About You
We Require:
2 years in a Production Environment
Site Specific Training, including site inspection training
Task training applicable Equipment
Weekly Plan Forecasted, weekly Site Inspection
Weekly Equipment Inspection, maintenance logs, production logs, weekly approval of timecards, weekly Inventory review
Daily Update the Week forecasted Plan to provide Actual Data
Daily Oversee inspection, operation, and repair of all equipment ,verify required daily/weekly/monthly plant inspections are completed, operation of equipment as needed
Equipment is to be operated safely and efficiently, operator shall always maintain control of the equipment
Cab/control house shall be kept clean, wiped down, and maintained; control house and plant are considered equipment and should be treated to the same standards as yellow iron
