Job description

Enterprise Sales Executive โ€” BI, Analytics & Data Governance | NY Metro | $150Kโ€“$180K Base / $300Kโ€“$360K OTE - 27778678

We're partnering with a high-growth technology company to find a seasoned Enterprise Sales Executive for their New York Metro territory. This is a pure hunting role โ€” new logos, C-level relationships, and enterprise-sized deals โ€” backed by a BDR team, a dedicated Sales Engineer, and a product portfolio squarely in the middle of where enterprise technology spending is accelerating: Business Intelligence, Data Governance, AI-powered Analytics, and Data Connectivity.

If you've spent your career selling data and analytics software into large enterprises and you're tired of waiting for accounts to be handed to you, this is worth a conversation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning the NY Metro territory end-to-end โ€” hunting new logos across enterprise accounts with $1B+ in annual revenue
  • Carrying a quota of $1.5Mโ€“$2M with the tools to hit it: BDR support, Sales Engineer partnership, and a compelling product story
  • Calling at the C-suite level โ€” CIOs, CDOs, CTOs, and the business leaders who own analytics and data strategy
  • Selling into organizations that are actively investing in BI ecosystems, data management platforms, ETL/ELT modernization, and AI governance
  • Building and leveraging your existing rolodex to accelerate pipeline from day one

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience โ€” 8โ€“10 years is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record as a hunter โ€” you open new accounts, not just manage existing relationships
  • Background selling into the data and analytics stack: database software, analytics platforms, Business Intelligence, ETL, or AI-powered data tools
  • Experience with enterprise accounts at the $1B+ revenue level โ€” you know how these organizations buy and how long it takes to earn their trust
  • Currently based in NY Metro โ€” New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Long Island; must be able to get into the metro area a couple of days per week
  • A portable book of relationships and the credibility to use it

Backgrounds We Love to See

Candidates with sales experience at companies like ThoughtSpot, Qlik, AtScale, Cloudera, Teradata, Alteryx, Tableau, Sisense, or Snowflake are a strong match. If you've been selling data management, analytics platforms, BI software, or AI governance tools into enterprise accounts, we want to hear from you.

This Role Is Not For You If...

  • You're an account manager looking for a relationship-management seat โ€” this is a new business hunting role
  • Your entire background is in large, slow-moving enterprise organizations without a track record of opening new accounts
  • You have a history of short tenures โ€” stability and territory ownership matter here
  • You're outside of NY Metro or require relocation

This is an expansion role at a company with an established enterprise customer base, proven product-market fit in the data and analytics space, and a comp plan built to reward closers. The territory is yours to build.
