Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Project Engineer for a Texas City area onsite position.
Position Type: Full-time
Location: Texas City, TX
Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary, Plant
Travel Requirements: Occasional
Essential Functions:
  • Work onsite within a Capital Projects Team at a client facility in the Donaldsonville/St. James Area.
  • Support engineering requests from plant operations and maintenance staff to develop solutions and engineered deliverables across the site.
  • Provide scope development from initial stages through AFE funding and project execution for multi-discipline plant capital projects.
  • Manage internal and external resources for execution of engineering and design packages to be issued for construction.
  • Coordinate with client procurement on materials and services requisitioning for timely delivery of project critical items.
  • Provide stewardship throughout all phases of engineering and construction to ensure project success.
  • Follow all client standards and project execution procedures.
  • Provide accountability and regular communications with project team and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project commitments toward schedule are achieved.
  • Support project reporting metrics and manage deviations.
  • Promote safety in all aspects of involvement.

Requirements:
  • B.S. in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (BSME, BSChE, BSCE, or BSEE)
  • 2-5 years of experience preferred from plant facility assignments and/or consulting engineering office positions.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and performance metrics.
  • Ability to make field trips and lead in all project communications.
  • Background with SAP is helpful, but not required.
  • Current TWIC Card needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
  • Team Player and willingness to help others
  • Attention to detail.
