This work will be conducted alongside active participation in EM and RF design projects, ensuring strong alignment between tool development and real design needs.

Over time, this role offers flexibility for the candidate to shape their career path based on their interests and strengths, with opportunities to grow in RF/EM design, design automation, or a combination of both.

Why Join Us

  • Work on high-impact design automation while continuing hands-on RF/EM design.
  • Balanced role combining software development and product design.
  • Opportunity to work with experienced designers to influence methodology across the organization.
  • Flexibility to grow your career in RF design, design automation, or both, based on your interests and strengths.
Responsibilities

Design Automation & Tool Development (Primary Initial Focus)

  • Lead and contribute to the development of optimization and automation tools for RF design workflows.
  • Develop Python-based infrastructure to interface with industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., ADS, SpectreRF, EM tools).
  • Integrate and automate simulation flows for:
    -EM modeling (2.5D/3D)
    -Circuit-level simulations (PAs, LNAs, switches)
    -Passive structures and filters (BAW/SAW)
  • Improve simulation efficiency, data management, and design convergence through automation and workflow enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure tool usability across multiple design groups.

RF/EM Design (Concurrent & Long-Term)

  • Design and simulate electromagnetic structures such as baluns, couplers, inductors, and matching networks.
  • Contribute to RF front-end module design, including I ntegration of LNAs, PAs, switches, and filters.
  • Support EM modeling, correlation, and debugging between simulation and measurement.
  • Participate in product development activities including architecture, design support, layout guidance, and lab debug.
  • Assist in lab evaluation and characterization of RF modules.
Required Experience and Skills
