Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Mechanical Design Engineering Intern to join our engineering team in Fort Lauderdale, United States. In this role, you will support the design and development of mechanical components and systems while gaining hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers to contribute to projects from concept through prototyping, developing your technical skills and understanding of mechanical design principles.
  • Assist in creating and modifying CAD models and technical drawings using industry-standard software
  • Support the analysis and optimization of mechanical components and assemblies
  • Conduct research on design alternatives and manufacturing processes to support engineering decisions
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve designs
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and assembly instructions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design challenges and identify solutions
  • Support prototyping efforts and contribute to testing and evaluation activities
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation in accordance with company standards
  • Communicate findings and progress updates to senior engineering staff

Qualifications
