Job description

Sims-Lohman is hiring Granite Fabricator - Polisher to work at our Columbus, Ohio location. We have second shift available. Shift times are 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM with overtime as needed. Pay based on interview and experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts, using hand grinders and polishing equipment

- Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions with a tape measure

- Operate fabrication machinery to router or polish counter top edges

Qualifications

- 6+ months' experience polishing countertops highly preferred, and/or 1+ years' experience general industrial experience using hand grinder or polisher.

- Ability to use a variety of hand tools including hand grinders and hand routers

- Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure

- Ability to work with heavyweight

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen; No Background Check Required.
