Job description

Sims-Lohman is a rapidly growing, mid-size Company serving the building products industry, and we are expanding our presence in Canton, OH. We are searching for a manufacturing leader with passion for the customer and building a team, while achieving safety, production and financial goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the fabrication operation and install teams at our Canton location. Includes oversight and maintenance of truck operations.
  • Partner with the Sales team to ensure outstanding customer service, on-time installation of product and meet budget goals.
  • Drive the safe operation of team members and equipment.

Requirements
  • 10+ years leadership experience, including the management of people, preferably in a medium manufacturing, fabricating, or job shop setting where a hands-on management style is needed.
  • Construction industry related products preferred.
  • Experience with CNC machinery required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Technology, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Knowledge of modern production scheduling, manufacturing and inventory management principles.
  • Knowledge of material handling and the maintenance of trucks preferred.
  • Ability to train new employees to proficiency in safety and operations.
  • Proven ability to partner as a successful member of a cross-functional team (sales and administration).
  • Ability to create, maintain and report safety, production and financial results.
  • Adept in the creation and use of spreadsheets and documents.
