Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required skills/experience: ICU skills – arrhythmia monitory, sedation, paralytics, titratable drips knowledge, CVP monitoring, caring for s/p craniotomy pt, TPA administration. At our facility, we require 2 nurses to place foley catheter.

Shift & schedule requirements: If census is low, you may be asked to be on call, but this is rare. EOW. 70% of holidays.

Floating requirements: All med surg and Critical Care Areas (including ED boarders). If ICU or ER, we do use those as well.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)

• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
