Optometrist โ€“ Full Time/Part Time -Full Scope Private Practice โ€“ Minnetonka, MN

Licensed ODs and upcoming new graduates Apply!

A growing private practice is seeking a full-time Optometrist to work between two locations in Minnetonka and Eden Prairie, Minnesota (just 10 minutes apart). The position is for full time but open to part time (minimum 2 days per week). Every other Saturday is required for FT (2 Saturdays per month).

This locally owned  practice operates independently with strong autonomy. The offices are known for their outstanding patient experience, maintaining a 4.6-star Google rating and consistently positive reviews highlighting the kindness and care of the team.

The practice has four ODs on staff, with three having been with the organization for over 20 years and one for five years โ€” a testament to stability and long-term satisfaction. The ownership team is hands-on, supportive, and accessible for mentorship, HR support, and collaboration.


Schedule
  • Mondayโ€“Friday: 9:30 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM
     
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
     
  • Every other Saturday required- 2 Saturdays only a month!
     
  • Flexible scheduling between both locations- you choose how many days you want to be at each location if one is more ideal for you.
     
About the Optometrist Position

Each OD is supported by one full-time patient coordinator who performs all pre-testing, including Optos imaging and optional OCT screening. The practice utilizes EHR. 

The incoming doctor will primarily provide:

  • Comprehensive primary care exams
     
  • OCT imaging
     
  • Dry eye protocol treatments
     
  • Post-cataract care
     
  • Disease management
     
  • Opportunities to expand the medical side of the practice
     

Doctors typically see 2 patients per hour with strong technician support. Productivity is flexible โ€” providers may choose to see more or fewer patients based on preference.

The practice is especially interested in adding myopia management and is fully willing to invest in equipment and support to help build this specialty. Or if you have another specialty that you enjoy or want to grow we are open to fully supporting this and building it within the practice. The myopia management specialty is not a requirement to apply.
