Medallion Mental Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote outpatient team in Arlington, Virginia. This vital role requires the therapist to provide comprehensive mental health support to our diverse clientele via virtual platforms. This position is fully remote, allowing clinicians to deliver care from the comfort of their own homes while enjoying the flexibility to manage their schedules. • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate client needs and concerns.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client goals.
• Provide psychotherapy sessions via video conferencing, facilitating therapeutic breakthroughs and emotional growth.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities relevant to clients, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with organizational protocols.
• Engage in ongoing training, supervision, and peer consultations to enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed on best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborative care discussions to share insights and improve client care.

Our Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a varied clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples facing a spectrum of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. • A valid mental health clinician license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Proficient treatment planning and counseling skills across diverse populations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering services virtually is highly preferred.

• Experience providing psychotherapy to diverse populations, particularly teenagers, couples, and families.
• Experience with teletherapy and digital documentation tools such as Simple Practice.
• Strong understanding of behavioral health practices and the impact of socio-cultural factors on mental health.
