Job description

Job Title

PAY - $20.90 - MARKUP - 45% - TEMP TO HIRE - ONSITE POSITION - DURATION - SIX MONTHS - SHIFT - MON-FRI 2PM - 10:30PM.

Complete day to day cleaning and sanitation work duties. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing all production machinery and equipment throughout plant including conveyor belts, screens, filters, kettles, pipes, walls, totes, sanding/ oiling drum, tables, and facility housekeeping including plant exterior, and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed.

Handle chemicals used in the process of cleaning and sanitation by following safety precautions. Complete the removal and disposal of waste and recycling in an effective manner. Document cleaning and sanitation activities records. Able to prioritize cleaning and sanitation duties to support production needs. Using ATP bioluminescence device to verify cleaning and sanitation effectiveness. Troubleshoot root cause of cleaning and sanitation failure, and work on problem solving. Observe and follow safety procedures. Observe and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP) Food Safety Plan (HACCP) and Food Quality Plan (FQP); Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Take responsibility for maintaining facility and equipment in a clean and sanitary state. Participate in all necessary training is required to successfully perform job responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum of High School Diploma required. No prior experience or training. LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read and interpret a limited number of two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. MATH ABILITY: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiple and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using standard units of American weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. TECHNICAL SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic principals of mechanical functioning and cause and effect.
