Data Entry Clerk


Position Type: Full Time

Job Classification: Hourly

Reports To: PEIMS Coordinator

Location: Irving, TX

What to Expect

You will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining sensitive data using internal and external information systems. This role will be required to have strong typing abilities, attention to detail, able to maintain records, and assist with data sourcing for reporting purposes.


What You’ll Do

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will:

  • Assist with data mining for periodic State data reporting and submission of PEIMS and Core Collections. 
  • Perform data entry and maintenance of PEIMS data in various financial and student information systems like Skyward, PowerSchool, Ascender, Websmart, and others.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry including routine updates and reports.
  • Assist with updates and verification of current and previous campus data collection and data submission to the State for inconsistencies. 
  • Perform system data/information conversion and data entry accuracy. 
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors and correct any inconsistencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits
