Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused physical examinations and gather detailed medical histories to assess both the physical and mental health conditions of patients.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging to accurately identify patient health issues and tailor appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions based on approved protocols, focusing on efficacy and patient safety.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Counsel patients and their families on health management, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications to promote well-being.
• Maintain precise medical documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Assure timely consultations or referrals for complex cases requiring specialty care beyond your supervised capacity.
• Manage patients across various healthcare settings, including inpatient and emergency services, to ensure comprehensive healthcare delivery.
• Perform invasive procedures as authorized by the supervising physician while adhering to institutional policies on patient care.
• Be open to additional patient care duties based on departmental needs, collaborating with the team to meet care requirements effectively.

In this role, you will primarily work with adult and geriatric patients who present a range of surgical needs. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field. Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Silver Cross Family Hospital offers an attractive salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
