Position Summary

Silver Property Management is seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Silver Collection at Cosner's Corner. In this role, you will help maintain the community's apartments, amenities, and grounds while delivering exceptional service to our residents.

Apartment & Building Maintenance
  • Complete resident service requests efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Assist with apartment turns to prepare homes for new residents.
  • Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, HVAC, appliance repairs, and minor carpentry.
  • Utilize property management software to document and complete service requests.
Community Appearance
  • Maintain exceptional curb appeal throughout the property.
  • Walk the community daily to collect trash, remove pet waste, and monitor overall cleanliness.
  • Maintain breezeways, sidewalks, pet waste stations, and the community dog park.
  • Assist with daily pool maintenance and ensure amenities remain clean and operational.
Preventative Maintenance & Operations
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Support the Service Manager with maintenance projects and property improvements.
  • Coordinate with vendors as needed and ensure work is completed to company standards.
Seasonal Responsibilities
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
  • Assist with snow removal, salting, and ice management during winter weather events (including occasional overnight onsite coverage when necessary due to severe weather conditions).
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Drywall, Painting, Appliance repair, Minor carpentry, Pool maintenance
  • EPA Certification preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
  • Experience working with heat pump systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and work in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
