Position Summary

The Albert at Hotel EMC2 is seeking a poised, visionary, and detail-oriented Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team. As the face of The Albert, you will be responsible for orchestrating the daily symphony of service, ensuring that every guest receives a bespoke experience that aligns with our brand’s prestigious reputation.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep passion for fine wine and spirits, a refined understanding of culinary techniques, and the natural charisma to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all floor operations during service, ensuring impeccable standards of silver service, table maintenance, and pacing.
  • Oversee maintenance on all digital systems such as Micros and POS.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with VIPs, regulars, and dignitaries. Handle guest feedback with extreme grace, transforming challenges into opportunities for loyalty.
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a diverse team of servers, sommeliers, and hosts. Foster a culture of constant improvement and professional pride.
  • Manage P&L, labor costs, and inventory. Work closely with the General Manager to drive revenue through curated events and optimized seating strategies.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Partner with the Executive Chef and Beverage Director to ensure a cohesive narrative between the kitchen and the dining room.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure the physical environment (lighting, temperature, decor) is flawless and that all health, safety, and liquor regulations are strictly surpassed.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of management experience in a luxury, fine-dining, or Michelin-starred environment.
  • Education: A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of global wine regions and spirits (Level 2 Sommelier certification or higher is a significant plus).
  • Aesthetic & Poise: Impeccable professional grooming and the ability to maintain composure under high pressure.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; multi-lingual capabilities are highly valued.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with high-end reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms, Resy) and POS software.
