Job description

Silver Creek Construction, Inc. is seeking experienced and highly motivated people to join our team. We are currently looking to fill the position of Laborer for our Heavy Highway construction company concentrating in concrete building and repaving. Laborer's will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks involving physical labor on roadway, highway, bridges, and heavy construction projects. This position requires travel. Majority of our projects occur within the state of Texas, but occasionally some out of state projects arise. Silver Creek Construction, Inc. offers competitive wages, out-of-town accommodations, and daily per diem for overnight stays.Laborer classifications include but are not limited to Common Laborer, Utility Laborer, Concrete Finisher. Starting Pay is $18.00-22.00/hr depending on experience.​All tools and Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided.​Primary ResponsibilitiesPerforms any combination of the following duties on construction projects by transferring from one task to another, where the demands require a worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision.Levels earth to fine grade specifications using a pick and a shovel. Spray materials such as water and curing compound. Operate small machinery including but not limited to water pumps, portable electric generators, portable sprayers, power and hand tools. Mix, pour, and spread concrete. Clean and seal joints.
