Job description

Job Summary
The Buckeye Union School District is accepting applications for one full-time Special Education Teacher position at Silva Valley Elementary School and Rolling Hills Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year!
Important Dates:
- New Hire Orientation: Friday, August 7, 2026
- Teacher In-Service Days: August 10-11, 2026
- First Day of School: Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Location:
- Silva Valley Elementary School, El Dorado Hills, CA ( 40%)
- Rolling Hills Middle School, El Dorado Hills, CA ( 60%)
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (7.5 hours per day)
Please note: The position is split 40% at Silva Valley Elementary and 60% at Rolling Hills Middle School, the specific daily schedule at each site will be determined based on site bell schedules and discussed during the interview process.
Salary Information:
The initial placement range for new hires is $58,205.00 - $85,352.00 annually, depending on education and experience. Salary placement is based on our certificated special education salary schedule (linked on the right side of this posting) and considers verified full-time teaching experience and completed units or degrees beyond a bachelor's degree. Initial placement is determined by range (education) and step (years of experience). Employees who hold a master's degree receive an additional $1,000 annual stipend.
