About Think Academy Silicon Valley

Think Academy Silicon Valley provides high-quality PreK-12 extracurricular learning programs that help students build strong mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence through engaging and interactive learning experiences.

We are looking for passionate PreK & Lower Elementary Math Teachers to join our teaching team for our September-November programs.

Current and former public or private school teachers are highly encouraged to apply.

About the Role

Think Academy Silicon Valley is looking for passionate PreK & Lower Elementary Math Teachers to join our September-November programs. You will teach engaging, in-person math classes for young learners using Think Academy Silicon Valley's curriculum and teaching materials.

What You'll Do
  • Teach engaging math classes for PreK and lower elementary students in classroom setting (group of 8-10 students)
  • Prepare weekly lessons using provided curriculum and teaching materials.
  • Create a fun, interactive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Provide feedback on students' learning and progress.
  • Participate in teacher training and teaching-related meetings.
Time Commitment
  • 8-10 teaching hours per week
  • Approximately 5-6 hours per week for lesson preparation and training
  • Classes are scheduled during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
  • Consistent availability from September through November is required
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree completed or currently pursuing.
  • Passionate about education and enjoys working with young children.
  • Public/private school teaching experience is highly valued.
  • PreK or lower elementary teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills; energetic, patient, responsible, and reliable.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work 100% on-site in San Jose / Cupertino.
Compensation
  • Teaching: $40-$70/in class hour (based on your teaching experience)
  • Non-Teaching / Admin: $20-$22/hour
    Includes training, meetings, and other non-teaching responsibilities.
