HVAC Service Technician

Sila Services – Stoneham, MA

Sila Services is growing in Stoneham, and we’re looking for experienced HVAC Service Technicians who know how to diagnose a system, take care of the customer, and get the job done right.

And right now, we’re offering up to a  $5,000 signing bonus for experienced HVAC Service Technicians who join our team!

What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups
  • Work on furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, central AC, air handlers, and other residential equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and control issues
  • Explain your findings and repair options clearly to homeowners
  • Provide customers with options and recommendations based on their needs
  • Identify opportunities for system upgrades and replacements
  • Complete service documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle
  • Deliver the kind of customer experience that keeps people calling Sila
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • EPA 608 Certification
  • Experience with gas furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, and AC systems
  • Comfortable troubleshooting electrical and low-voltage systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting repair and replacement options to homeowners
  • ServiceTitan experience is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Someone dependable, professional, and proud of the work they do

  • Service Revenue Generation: Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues, recommending appropriate solutions and discussing options with customers.
