Dental Hygienist
As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide optimum periodontal/hygiene services and oral health education to Unity Care NW patients. You would provide traditional hygiene services such as scaling and root-planning. You may also provide sealants, screenings & radiographs, restorative fills & other services. You would be responsible for the setup and cleanup of dental rooms and charting.

Requirements include an Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, two years' previous DH experience, a current Washington State Dental Hygienist License with no actions taken, basic life support (BLS) certification, ability to place and finish restorative materials and sealants, general knowledge of basic dental policies & procedures and oral health issues, especially regarding oral hygiene, general office skills such as computers (Dentrix and Microsoft Office Outlook, Word & Excel), faxes, telephones, and copy machines, ability to organize and prioritize workload, ability to maintain an effective and positive professional working relationship with staff and patients at all times.
Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a community or public health setting, experience working with adults in underserved populations.
