Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. (AMS) is seeking a talented Electrical or Computer Engineer to join our diverse team, in Huntsville, AL., to create unique solutions for complex problems. AMS provides responsive, cost-effective engineering and scientific solutions ranging from air and missile defense technologies, command and control, radar systems, seekers, modeling & simulation, and prototype hardware development and testing.

Position Description:

Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) is currently seeking a dynamic TechSIGINT Analyst to join our Huntsville, AL. team.

The TechSIGINT Analyst position involves analyzing and interpreting complex data sets from radar waveforms, datalinks, or missile flight test data. As a TechSIGINT analyst working on site with the customer, you will be responsible for documenting analysis findings in technical documentation as well as presenting those findings during working groups and technical exchanges.


Basic Qualifications (required):

  • Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
  • Typically requires a high school diploma and 8+ years of related experience or a bachelor's degree in engineering and 4+ years of related experience. Courses taken at National Cryptologic School such as SIGE 2810, 3820, and 4810 among others are taken into consideration.
  • The candidate must have experience in one or more of the following areas: Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT), or C4ISR data analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to include varying levels and types of government, industry and academia.
  • Have conceptual, quantitative, organizational, research, writing, verbal communications, and graphical representation skills.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Prior background and knowledge of Surface-to Air Missile systems is highly beneficial.
  • An analysis background in Power, Pattern, and Polarization is highly desired.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 4+ years of related experience, or a high school diploma with 8+ years of related experience.
  • Courses taken at the National Cryptologic School such as SIGE 2810, 3810, and 4810 among others are taken into consideration.
  • Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) experience
  • Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT)
  • C4ISR data analysis

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the year.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Security Requirements:

  • Citizenship: Candidate must a US only citizen.
  • Clearance level: Candidate must possess and maintain a current Top-Secret clearance.
