Electronic Warfare Software Engineer

The Opportunity:

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to developing the next generation of Electronic Warfare technologies and solutions. We're looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to provide the U.S. warfighter cutting edge capabilities in the management and dominance of the RF Spectrum.

At Booz Allen, you'll use your engineering skills to transform Air Force. Our team analyzes the next generation of Electronic Warfare. That's why we need you, an electrical engineer with a background in signal processing and software development, to help us design and develop algorithms and software for the characterization of a modern radar signal space.

On our team, you'll utilize programming languages such as C or C++, MATLAB, and Python to perform analysis on signal processing and Electronic Warfare techniques. You'll impact the Air Force by developing techniques, software, and algorithms to shape the future of warfare. This is a chance to use your signal processing and programming skills while gaining experience in modern electronic warfare.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical or design engineering, signal processing, or radar analysis

  • Experience in software development

  • Knowledge of digital signal processing, C++, Python

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a group

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in Agile software development

  • Experience with statistical analysis, AI or ML, and mathematical optimization

  • Knowledge EW methods and analysis, mission analysis, and signals analysis

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
