Position Overview


Triumph Signs & Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and manage our Project Coordinator Department, consisting of six team members.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced project management professional who understands the demands of managing multiple construction-related projects, coordinating customers, vendors, subcontractors, field personnel, schedules, and deadlines.

The ideal candidate will bring strong construction project management experience, leadership ability, organization, accountability, and problem-solving skills to oversee the department and ensure projects move efficiently from initial handoff through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and provide daily direction to a team of six Project Coordinators
  • Oversee the department's project workload, priorities, deadlines, and performance
  • Monitor projects from initial handoff through scheduling, installation, completion, and closeout
  • Ensure Project Coordinators are proactively communicating with customers, vendors, subcontractors, installers, and internal departments
  • Review project schedules and identify potential delays or problems before they impact completion dates
  • Assist the team with resolving complex project issues and customer concerns
  • Hold team members accountable for follow-up, documentation, deadlines, and project responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Production, Service, Installation, and other departments
  • Conduct regular project and departmental meetings
  • Establish and improve processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and accountability
  • Monitor department performance and provide coaching, feedback, and training
  • Step in to manage or troubleshoot high-priority projects when necessary
  • Provide management with updates regarding project status, department workload, challenges, and performance


Qualifications


  • 5+ years of construction project management experience preferred
  • Previous experience supervising or managing a project management/project coordination team strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction project timelines, scheduling, vendors, subcontractors, and field coordination
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable holding employees accountable while providing coaching and support
  • Experience working in the sign industry, construction, architectural products, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus
