Job description

In this role, under the Signage Operations Manager, you will assist creation and deployment of signage to our fleet of stores. This role will focus on operational functions supporting the launch and maintenance of all programs. You collaborate with internal business partners, field associates and 3 rd party contractors to ensure cost-effective, timely execution of all sign deliverables.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the production, delivery and implementation of sign elements across multiple store formats, designs and sizes to ensure correct and cost-effective implementation by store.
  • Work with merchandising, marketing and vendor partners to implement and maintain customer-oriented POP within store locations ensuring a single voice to the retail customer.
  • Assist in the development, production and maintenance of instructional communications for all signage programs launched that supports sales and marketing plans.
  • Project manage the delivery of complete sign package for new, remodeled or relocated stores, as well as the development of custom sign solutions for new programs and flagship stores.
  • Design and develop price signs using graphic tools and simple programing expressions.
  • Maintain and update content available for both on demand printing and inventory stored in our warehouse.
  • Document and maintain store-specific characteristics to ensure accuracy of ongoing Sign Programs using a dynamic database.
  • Submit artwork requests from our creative design team as needed.
  • Support our store network by overseeing store orders and answering store queries.
  • Work with our vendor partners to print and distribute our signage kits.
  • Work with our finance team to process invoices and track our yearly budget.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions

Office Environment (Hybrid working model, working from home and the office)

Occasional travel required approximately 5% of the time.

Qualifications
  • Post Secondary degree/diploma in a related field.
  • 3-5 years project management experience – retail industry preferred where collaboration with both internal and external teams is vital.
  • 3-5 years print purchasing and inventory management experience – retail industry preferred.
  • Project management skills needed, to oversee multiple projects from start to finish.
  • Time management skills needed to balance the workload, and to prioritize renovation signage.
  • Strong computer skills needed including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, data bases and AS400 is an asset.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • Working knowledge of printing processes used for point-of-purchase signing – screen, offset and digital is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong conceptual and creative skills.
