We are seeking a detail-oriented sign installer to transport and install a variety of signs. In this role, you will be required to prepare the signs for mounting, and manage the placement and installation of the signs, among other duties.
A successful sign installer needs to be highly organized, have good knowledge about the types of signs, and be comfortable working at heights and in all types of weather. An outstanding sign installer will demonstrate precision and possess a sound understanding of the applicable construction and installation techniques.
Responsibilities
· Able to understand and execute tasks related to the installation of illuminated and non-illuminated signs.
· Mounting and installing signs in accordance with all safety protocols
· Removing debris and materials from the site after each install
· Cleaning company vehicles and trailers after each install
· Perform maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed
· Operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
· Obtaining and maintaining all required licenses
· A positive attitude
· Willingness to learn
· Excellent communication skills
· Likely overtime hours and potential weekend hours
· Out of town and overnight installs possible
Qualifications
· Ability to lift up to 75lbs
· Ability to operate hand and power tools
· Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor including lifting, climbing, working at various heights
· Able to work at various heights in the air without concern
· Ability to work in harsh weather conditions
· Ability to perform detailed work efficiently
· Willingness to work possible weekends, and overnights as needed
· Valid driver license
· CDL license preferred within initial 90 days of employment. Company will assist in your obtaining this
