What is a sign waiver?

A Sign Waiver job involves standing in a visible location while holding, spinning, or waving a sign to attract attention to a business, event, or promotion. Sign Waivers help increase foot traffic and brand awareness by engaging with passersby using energetic movements or creative sign tricks. The job typically requires standing for long periods, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and maintaining a positive attitude. It is often a part-time or temporary position that does not require prior experience.

What does a sign waiver do?

A typical workday for a Sign Waiver involves standing or moving at a designated location, such as a busy street or near a business entrance, holding and waving promotional signs to attract attention. You may be requested to perform basic dance moves or interact with people to increase engagement, often during peak business hours or special promotions. While most of the work is done solo, you might coordinate with marketing teams or store staff to align with event goals.
