Job description

Do you like working with your hands and building things that last? Are you a problem-solver who takes pride in getting the details right? If so, we're looking for YOU.

Signarama has been serving Santa Rosa since 1994, making everything from banners and A-frames to monuments and illuminated LED signs. We're growing, and we need a dependable, full-time Production Specialist to join our shop.

Sign or machine-operation experience is a big plus — but if you're mechanically inclined and eager to learn, we will train you.

What you'll do:

•      Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminators, and shop equipment

•      Follow a work order to place computer-cut vinyl and printed graphics onto substrates

•      Prep substrates — cutting, cleaning, laminating, mounting, and trimming

•      Weed and mask vinyl, and handle finishing operations

•      Build and assemble signs from start to finish

•      Proof your work and run quality checks before it goes out the door

What it takes:

•      Strong work ethic and mechanical/structural aptitude

•      A sharp eye for detail and accuracy — measurements and quality matter here

•      Comfort operating production machinery, or the drive to learn it fast

•      Professional appearance and attitude

•      Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•      Solid communication skills

•      Clean driving record (for occasional vehicle moves)

•      Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout the day

•      Wood shop experience (panel saw, table saw, jigsaw) a plus

Heads up on the shop environment: This is hands-on production work. You'll be on your feet, around printing inks and shop materials with some odor, and moving between machines throughout the day.
