Job description

Since its founding in 1992, Edgewood Properties has established itself as a leading real estate development and property management company.

Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 6,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 12,000 units in the next five years.

Given our rapid portfolio growth, coupled with ownership's desire to develop and hold rather than sell, the timing is ideal for qualified candidates to join us.

 We're currently seeking a Sign Shop Fabricator and Installer for our sign shop

The candidate will work at our South Plainfield office in South Plainfield, NJ

Overview of our Sign Shop

The EP Sign Shop is a fully functioning sign shop within Edgewood Properties.

The function of the shop is the design, production and installation of branding, logos, marketing materials, life and safety signs, ADA, vehicle lettering, and construction signs for all current and future projects both residential and commercial.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for producing all signs.
  • Will be required to cut out all graphics and lay them out on the proper substrates.
  • This will also include the final production of all ADA signage.
  • Will also be the lead on all property signage installs.
  • Will include but not limited to digging post signs, installing banners, laying down vinyl lettering, and installing vehicle graphics/wraps.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a print shop, sign shop, or commercial printing environment
  • Knowledge of digital printing, large format printing, plotters, laminators, routers
  • Knowledge of signage production and installation methods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and perform physically demanding work
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
