Motor Werks Honda is looking for an organized, knowledgeable, experienced Dispatcher to join our growing team!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The dispatcher must be able to organize, lead, and control the flow of work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer. We are looking for someone dedicated to a job well done/ fixed first visit and a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers and team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Monitor all open repair orders and assign new repair orders according to technician availability
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Monitor technician schedules including late nights, Saturdays, vacation, training, and sickness, etc...
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Notify technicians if MPI has a red flag appointed to them and they haven't responded in a reasonable time limit
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assign waiters to technicians that will be available to start work immediately
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Notify Shop Foreman/Shop Manager if a repair order is open for more than 3 days and is not waiting for a part to arrive.
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Track repeat visits using the Microsoft Excel log
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Notify Shop Foreman/Shop Manager of a repeat visit and follow up with technician to make sure Foreman/Manager has been involved and signed off on repair
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Check all Pre-paid maintenance, DSA, Add-on lines, have been signed and properly documented
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ensure all no problem found (NPF) lines are signed by Foreman/Manager
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assign technician/porter/apprentice for quality control (QC)check if necessary
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ensure work is evenly distributed among resources eg; one technician can't hold multiple repair orders open because they can't get to all of it in a timely manner (redistribution may be necessary)
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Have short interviews with service advisor's daily
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Review Appointments on a daily basis.
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ensure fixed right first time repairs
