Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pre-Flight Graphic Artist / Wide Format Digital Press Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for preparing customer artwork for print production, operating wide format digital printing equipment, maintaining color accuracy and print quality, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and accurately.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications, print production workflows, and wide format digital printing processes. Experience with EFI digital printers is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, inspect, and pre-flight customer-supplied artwork for print readiness
  • Prepare and modify files for production using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ensure proper color profiles, bleeds, resolution, fonts, and file setup
  • Operate wide format digital printing equipment and RIP software
  • Monitor print quality, color consistency, and material alignment during production
  • Perform routine printer maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Work with production staff to prioritize and schedule jobs efficiently
  • Communicate with sales, customer service, and production teams regarding artwork or production issues
  • Maintain organized digital file management and job documentation
  • Assist with finishing processes including trimming, laminating, mounting, and packaging when required
  • Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including:
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe InDesign
