The Sr. Multimedia Designer is a creative force who drives, maintains, and elevates brand presence across every channel through effective and impactful visual communication. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated storyteller with deep technical fluency across print, digital, video, and motion formats, and a genuine passion for brand consistency and innovation.

Who You Are

You are proactive about learning new tools and techniques, including AI, because you see them as a way to do your best work faster. You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and bring creative thinking to every brief, whether it's a 200-page product catalog, a 60-second brand video, or a social media post.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Visual Communication

• Drive and maintain the Aurora Parts brand identity across all print, digital, video, and social touchpoints.

• Develop visual communication pieces including flyers, sell sheets, brochures, logos, iconography, email templates, web graphics, landing pages, signage, and more.

• Build and maintain brand standards documentation, templates (PowerPoint, Word, InDesign), and style guides.

• Create and manage a visual and audio digital asset library for use across the organization.

Print & Catalog Production

• Lead layout and production of multi-page paper catalogs and product guides from concept through press-ready files.

• Design print advertising, trade show materials, packaging, and direct mail pieces.

• Manage print vendor relationships, review proofs, and troubleshoot production issues.

Video & Photography

• Conceive, coordinate, shoot, direct, and edit video content including product showcases, testimonials, interviews, company events, social reels, and promotional pieces.

• Plan and execute photography sessions for products, events, and portraits; handle setup, staging, lighting, and post-production.

• Produce motion graphics, animated social content, and short-form video optimized for digital platforms.

Digital & Social Media Design

• Create digital content for email campaigns, social media, website, and online advertising.

• Develop and update website graphics, microsite pages, and landing pages in collaboration with web and marketing teams.

• Produce social media content including static graphics, carousels, and short video that aligns with brand voice and platform best practices.

Events & Experiential

• Contribute to high-impact dealer and industry events: microsites, custom registration flows, digital and printed signage, day-of materials, and on-site execution.

• Support trade show planning with booth graphics, display materials, and promotional assets.

AI-Enhanced Workflow

• Actively integrate AI design, video, and productivity tools to increase output quality and efficiency without sacrificing brand integrity.

• Champion emerging AI capabilities within the Marketing team and help establish best practices for responsible use.

Creative Direction & Team Development

• Provide creative direction and day-to-day guidance to a Graphic Designer, reviewing work for brand consistency, quality, and alignment with project objectives.

• Support the professional development of the Graphic Designer through constructive feedback, skill-building opportunities, and mentorship.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Arts, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5+ years of professional design experience in an in-house B2B environment.

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Acrobat.

• Demonstrated experience with print catalog layout and production, including print-ready file preparation and press coordination.

• Hands-on video production experience: pre-production planning, on-set direction, shooting, and post-production editing.

• Strong command of photography techniques including product, portrait, and event photography.

• Experience with motion graphics and video animation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

• Working knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot or equivalent).

• Demonstrated understanding of print processes, color management, and production workflows.

• Strong portfolio showcasing range across print, video, digital, and brand identity work.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present and articulate creative concepts clearly.

• Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work on-site at the Lebanon, IN office as needed; local or Greater Indianapolis area candidates strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with web prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and responsive design.

• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS or front-end web concepts.

• Experience with voiceover recording and audio editing.

• Knowledge of the trailer, trucking, or heavy-duty aftermarket parts industry.

• Experience with AI design and productivity tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Nano Banana, Stitch, or similar).

This is a hybrid, full-time opportunity in Lebanon, IN. Fully remote work is not an option.
