Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-minded Sign Service Technician who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to solve problems while delivering outstanding customer service. This person should be comfortable working at heights, in varying weather conditions, and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.


A Day in the Life of a Sign Service Technician

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on illuminated and non-illuminated signs
  • Diagnose electrical and structural issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs safely and efficiently
  • Climb ladders, operate bucket trucks, and work at heights safely with fall protection
  • Use basic hand and power tools, measuring tapes, and electrical testing equipment
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding service updates, timelines, and any unexpected issues
  • Complete detailed service reports, including before-and-after photos of each job
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure jobs are completed to company quality standards

A Few Qualifications This Person Must Have

  • Must not be afraid of heights and able to work comfortably at elevated levels
  • Must know how to read and use a tape measure accurately
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds, climb, bend, squat, and work outdoors in varying weather

Compensation DOE

Salary Range: $25-$35 per hour (non-exempt)
