Job description

Bucket Truck Operator / Sign Installer

Bucket Truck ATL / Signs and More, Inc is an established full-service sign company located in White, GA. We design, manufacture, and install custom signs, vehicle graphics, banners, building signs, lobby signs, ADA signs, and other visual branding products for businesses throughout North Georgia and Metro Atlanta.

We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person to operate our Ford F-450 Altec bucket truck and perform commercial sign installation and service throughout North Georgia and Metro Atlanta.

This is a great position for someone who likes working outdoors, working with their hands, solving problems and seeing a completed project at the end of the day. You'll work on a wide variety of commercial signs rather than doing the same task every day.

What you'll do:

  • Drive, set up and safely operate our non-CDL bucket truck.
  • Install, service and repair commercial signs.
  • Work from an aerial bucket and ladders.
  • Install and service building signs, channel letters, illuminated cabinets, banners and other signage.
  • Use hand and power tools.
  • Assist with basic electrical/LED sign service.
  • Load and secure signs, tools and materials.
  • Inspect the truck and aerial equipment before use.
  • Take jobsite photos and complete installation documentation.
  • Work professionally with customers and other Signs & More team members.
  • Help with other installation/shop projects when bucket work is not scheduled.

What we're looking for:

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Dependable and safety conscious.
  • Able to work outdoors in Georgia weather.
  • Able to obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Bucket truck, aerial lift, construction, electrical or sign-installation experience is strongly preferred.

No CDL required for this truck.

Commercial sign experience is a plus, but we will consider someone with strong bucket-truck, construction, maintenance, electrical or similar hands-on experience who can learn the sign side of the job.

Pay: $20–$28/hour, depending on experience and ability.

Signs and More, Inc. has been serving businesses throughout North Georgia and Metro Atlanta since 2007. We manufacture and install a wide range of commercial signage and believe in quality work, dependable service and doing the job right.

Benefits

Paid vacation.

9 paid holidays per year.

Health plan supplement.

401(k), subject to eligibility.

Stable, team-oriented work environment.

Opportunity to work on a wide variety of custom sign and graphics projects.

Signs & More, Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a Drug-Free Workplace.
