Expert Technical Solutions has an outstanding opportunity for a POS Service Technician with a fast-growing company in Marietta, GA
This is a Permanent opportunity offering competitive salary, excellent benefits, and growth opportunities!
Your role will be to provide reliable on-site service to keep POS and Payment systems running smoothly with minimal customer disruption.
There will be regular travel within a 90-mile radius of office location; occasional overnight or
weekend travel required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve service tickets related to POS hardware and software failures
  • Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs and component replacements when necessary
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the service process.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and system upgrades
  • Perform system health checks and resolve configuration issues.
  • Work with the Support Team to identify recurring issues.
  • Track service requests using ConnectWise Manage
  • Ensure all work is logged with detailed notes, resolutions, products, and time.
  • Escalate major issues effectively while keeping customers informed.
  • Contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service playbooks.
  • Provide insight to help reduce repeat service calls and improve service efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Installation and Support teams to ensure long-term client satisfaction
  • Maintain installation tools and company equipment in working order
  • Track and restock service hardware and supplies as needed
  • Ensure company vehicles are clean, organized, and maintained weekly
Skills:
  • Field service, Low-voltage, maintenance and repair, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • POS and payment system experience preferred
  • Proficiency with remote supports tools (e.g., ConnectWise)
