Job description

About the Position:
As a Sign & Graphic Installer Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in our team here at superGraphics, ensuring the accurate installation of our client’s material.

The ideal candidate will have large format print or signage installation knowledge and experience. Some examples of projects you could be working on depending on skillsets are:

  • Building graphics; includes brick decals, window decals, banners, and mesh banners.
  • Digital graphics; includes street (asphalt and cement) interior and exterior wall graphics and billboards, vinyl and/or wallpaper application.
  • Full vehicle graphic wraps, vinyl lettering; including installation of graphic applications on different types of vehicles, fleet graphics, truck sides, and windows.
  • Delivery Locker Wraps.
  • Banner Installation; includes sports center banners, street pole banners, etc.
  • Dimensional letter installation.


Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Accredited apprenticeship for graphics installation or 1-3 years’ related experience.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficiency in vinyl installation techniques and materials.


Responsibilities:

  • Work on a day-to-day basis with clients regarding graphics installation and uphold company ideals.
  • Observes proper material handling from start to finish to prevent damage to large format prints and materials.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain strict quality over installations by reading work orders and layouts to ensure installation and materials meet impeccable standards. Attention to detail is a must.
  • Assist with site surveys and keep detailed notes of graphic and/or site dimensions.
  • Maintain a daily work log of activities performed on job site using in-house job tracking software.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3M certification or similar a plus
  • Vehicle and/or Fleet Wrapping experience
  • Wallcovering/Wallpaper application experience
  • Vinyl Banner Installation + Frame installation
  • Backlit/lighted sign installation experience
  • Lift Certifications(Forklift, Scissor Lift, etc)

Hours

Full time - Base schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. These hours will vary depending on the client and project needs. Hours also include infrequent weekends and evenings as dictated by business needs and supervisor.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, scale ladders, and perform their duties at elevated heights.

Occasionally required to climb ladders, sit, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
